Abdul Basir ((アラビア語: عبد البصير)) is a male Muslim given name. It is built from the Arabic words ''Abd'', ''al-'', and ''Basir''. The name means "servant of the All-seeing", ''Al-Basīr'' being one of the names of God in the Qur'an, which give rise to the Muslim theophoric names.〔 〕 The letter ''a'' of the ''al-'' is unstressed, and can be transliterated by almost any vowel, often by ''u''. So the first part can appear as Abdel, Abdul or Abd-al. The second part may appear as Basir, Baseer, Basser, or in other ways. The whole name is subject to variable spacing and hyphenation. It may refer to: *Abdul Basir Salangi, Governor of Parwan Province, Afghanistan *Abdul Basir (torture victim) (died 2009), Afghan who died in custody *Taha Abdul-Basser, American, Muslim Chaplain of Harvard University *Abdul Baser Wasiqi (born 1975), Afghan athlete ==References== 〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Abdul Basir」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
